For 4 afternoons and evenings, Séances Matérialistes gathers publishers, artists, researchers, students and the public to celebrate art books and discuss positions, strategies and concepts for living on earth and in space. Throughout the meetings, MATERIAL and edcat.net present independent publications and art books in an ephemeral bookshop. Séances Matérialistes are free to the public.
Thursday 29, Séance 1 – 3PM « L’ouverture » by MATERIAL with works by Yutie Lee, Pedro Wirz, David Horvitz and many books. – 6PM « Somewhere at sixes and sevens » by Benjamin Elliott
Friday 30, Séance 2 – 6PM « The house is at sixes and sevens » by Camille Dumond – 8PM « Listen to the moon » by MORE Projects w/ Camila Farina, Josep Maynou and OMMA
Saturday 31 Séance 3 – 4PM « Through the Words of Others » by Stephanie Serra – 8PM « Transparencies » by HC, book launch and talk
